Introduction
- These simulations were carried out using the channelling code FLUX (1,2)
written by Peter Smulders. They are an extension of those described in (3,4).
- The movies show the passages of 3 MeV protons through a silicon lattice, with different
beam tilts to the relevant plane or axis. The depth for each frame is shown in the lower left
corner in Angstroms.
- The axial movies show the resultant spatial coordinates of the channelled ions over
two adjacent unit cells. The depth is limited to 2000 A.
- The planar movies show the phase space distributions over two adjacent {110} planes.
The depth is limited to 6000 A.
- Move the mouse into the movie to slow it down.
